There are few areas of life more important,
more regulated and more litigated than the
employment relationship. The laws that
control the employment relationship are
among the most important in our country;
few people or businesses are insulated from
state and federal employment laws. Despite
this reality, few workers and employers, and
fewer lawyers, understand the tangle of laws
that control the employment relationship.
I have spent my entire 17 year legal career
practicing almost exclusively in and around
the employment relationship. Although my
law practice spans 2 states, I purposefully
and carefully limit my case load and overhead,
while investing heavily in communication and
computer technology, to better serve clients
and continue to offer reasonable fees. I
